Perfect Winery Wedding

I think a lot of girls have pictured having their wedding in a big, amazing, decked out barn...maybe not one with animals but definitely with cute hanging lights, long fun picnic tables, a little country flare and a lot of fun!  Don't be scared, just do it!

Kristin and Matt did at the beautiful Cedar Lake Cellars and their wedding was amazing, fun, delicious, and of course had lots of great wine.  The outdoor wedding and dining/dancing area was so pretty and with the cute and creative decorations Kristin made and the beautiful weather, this wedding turned out perfectly.

6 Dogs, 4 People, 1 Vacation

You've seen a ton of updates on the blog because I'm on vacation!  Vacation from my day job (in public realtions/awareness and planning event fundraisers at the Asthma & Allergy Foundation, St. Louis Chapter) means free time to work on my photography!  I squeeze in shoots when I have time and am excited to be growing my business more and more!

This week, I drove with my husband's parents to Hilton Head, SC with six dogs!  It's okay, we are used to being outnumbered.  Our two dogs LOVE coming to Hilton Head because it means hanging out with their cousins, going to the dogpark multiple times a day, and going to the beach!  Oh and lots of yummy treats from Grandma...

Speaking of yummy treats, check out this amazing southern meal of cornbread, honeybutter, and low country seafood boil that Brandon's mom made for us!  So delicious.

Baby McMichael on the Way

Seth and Kassy are expecting their first baby this September and have let the world know that he is a boy, but his name is a secret till the big day!  So excited to meet this little guy when he is born!

Reese at the Garden

Reese was such a good sport as we scouted out good spots at the Botanical Gardens and gave her numerous wardrobe changes. Her mom was so fun to work with and sang songs for us as we tried to convince Reese to look at us and not the gardeners!

The Generations Shoot

It was really fun to shoot three generations of the Eissman family on Maintstreet St. Charles, where many of the storefronts you see were once owned (or still are) by a member of their family. I learned so much about the history of their family and Mainstreet...love getting a glimpse into the family history of others!

Sister Sister

Finally getting some free time to start up with photo shoots and blog updates!  These girls were ready to RUN! So we chased them all over the Kirkwood Farmers Market on a beautiful morning to watch some sisterly love and even a few hugs for mom!
